2. What can I send ?
Right now you can send flowers, sweets, chocolates and cakes, fish articles, dry fruits and soft toys.For details please refer our catalog.
3. From where are the items bought ?
All the items confirm to the strict quality standards of GiftsKolkata and are purchased from the best shops in town. We do not believe in compromising on quality.
4. How is the item delivered ?
All the items are delivered by our staff directly in Kolkata. Couriers are
used for other destinations.
5. Where can the gifts be delivered ?
As of now, the gifts are delivered to most major places in Kolkata only. Non perishable items can be couriered to any place in India.
8. How can I help to ensure my delivery is made on time?
Please fill in the Recipients Name and full Address along with the PIN code
and Telephone Number to ensure
proper and timely delivery.
9. Do you take an acknowledgement for every delivery ?
We send an email to the sender after delivery and also try to send a digital image of the person taking delivery.
10. How can I order? Is it safe to purchase using credit card ?
To ensure the safety of your credit card information, the details are processed by CCNOW, our authorized online retailer, using SSL encryption on their servers. The details of your credit card never come to us. Thus you may order only via the website.
12. How do I make the payment ?
Our authorized online retailer, CCNOW accepts Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover/Novus) for all orders placed online.
13. How much time do you take to deliver after the payment has been
made ?
We normally allow ourselves 48-72 hours for delivery.
14. Are the items delivered as per the display on the web page ?
All pictures displayed in this site are those of the actual product which is to be
delivered, but GiftsKolkata, reserves the right to deliver a similar / alternate
product from different source for reasons beyond its control. However, in no case will the
quality of gifts be compromised.
15. What are your charges ?
The rates displayed along with each product are their prices. These are all inclusive charges. GiftsKolkata reserves the right to change prices or reject any order without any explanation. However price changes will not affect existing orders.
17. What if the delivery is not done or is late ?
Prompt delivery of your gifts is our prime concern and we are confident of providing
timely delivery. However any delayed or early delivery for whatever reason(s) shall not
entitle the user for any damages from us. In case of non-delivery, under unavoidable
circumstances, we shall refund you the money as early as possible.
18. Can the order given be changed ?
The order can be changed only if it is intimated to us within 3 hours as the processing
of all orders starts at 10.00 am IST and almost all the gifts are delivered/shipped the
same day. You cannot change the order value, you can only replace it with an item in the
same price category.
20. Can I send some message along with the gift ?
Yes, you can send message along with your gifts. Just type in your message in the instruction box in the order form. Your message will be sent along with the gift.
21. Can the recipient send me a return message?
We do more than that. Your loved one can write out a message for you when the gift is delivered. This information is emailed to you. We also try to email a digital image of the person taking delivery.
23. What if I have to cancel my order ?
You can change your order or request for a message/address change within 3 hours of the
order being placed but in no circumstances will cancellation of order be allowed. You
cannot change the order value, you can only replace it with an item in the same price
category. In no circumstances will a refund be given.
24. What if the recipient's address is wrong or the recipient no longer stays
there ?
We will inform you of such an eventuality. You can inform us to change the
receiver's address within 5 days of receiving our message, else your order will be
cancelled and no refund will be made. But under no circumstances will the gifts be
changed. In case of perishable commodities like sweets, cakes, flowers etc., an extra
charge (our cost price) will incur for re-purchase.
25. I enter the order, what happens then ? How does the process go ?
As soon as you enter the order successfully, a message is sent to us, at
Kolkata ,
India. We start processing all orders at 10.00 am IST and make sure that the delivery is
made the same day. In the events of the recipient not currently available
or neighbors not accepting the gifts on behalf of the recipient, we will try to deliver it
the next day by leaving a note for the recipient to contact our local office. Upon further
delay, we will inform you to confirm the address / availability of the recipient.
All deliveries are acknowledged by the signature of the receiver and an e-mail is sent to
you if there is a return message, after the delivery is complete. This ends the gift
process.
26. Are there any other considerations before I place my order ?
Although we deliver the gifts as fast as possible with extreme reliability, as far as possible, avoid sending delicate or perishable items like flowers or cakes to very remote areas.
